Located on the second floor of Paulaner
Bräuhaus, the restaurant features a maibaum (Maypole), a 16th
century Bavarian architectural feature, which stands in the centre of
the spacious surrounds adorned with black and white pictures of
Germany. Illuminated by little hanging halogen bulbs, the restaurant
exudes a convivial and comforting atmosphere at night.
Executive Chef Jody Yu has crafted an extensive menu comprising
traditional Bavarian dishes such as Homemade cabbage and minced meat
roll with bacon sauce and boiled potatoes or Bavarian Brotzeitbrettl,
which includes cuts of cold black forest ham, liver paté, cheese
and pickles with grated horseradish, and Wiener Schnitzel with
cranberry cherry sauce served with sautéed potatoes.
Speciality dishes include the quintessential German dish of Grilled
Pork Knuckle, as well as juicy char-grilled Nuremberg sausages served
with tangy homemade sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Sampler platters
are also available for those who prefer to have a taste of a selection
on the menu.
