Like any good recipe, you must begin with the right
ingredients. PAULANER beer is brewed according to
the strictest and oldest regulations of brewing as
set out in "The German Law of Purity", which
was issued in Bavaria in 1516 by Duke Wilhelm.
(first yeast propagation by Hansen/Denmark, 19th
century)
Difference between Paulaner and conventional beers:
- Brewed according to the German law of purity.
- No chemicals or artificial enzymes are added.
- The beer is only sold freshly brewed from the
microbrewery on site.
- The yeast added in the fermentation process stays
in the beer (haze), and this contains vitamins.
- The alcohol content is higher (5.2 - 5.6 Vol.%).
